You know how when you hear your favorite song come on the radio, it brightens up your mood? Do you start tapping your foot, bobbing your head, tapping your fingers? That’s the music that makes you feel good and gives you a bit of energy inside wanting to come out. So, go with the flow, turn up the volume, start moving and let’s get jiggy!
If you’re bed or chair bound, move your arms or whatever you can! Feel the energy!
Do what you can do and feels good!
If you are able, get up on your feet and put some motion into it! You don’t need to do anything strenuous, just do whatever you can comfortably do and “feel” like doing! If there is a move that gives you a little over-exertion that you’re really not used to, if it doesn’t hurt and won’t cause you any harm, do it! More than likely, that means you’re working out some muscles that haven’t been worked in a while and that will do you good! So go for it! Reach for the sky (stretch those arms)! Take that dip (work that waist)! Take some steps (work those legs)! Are you feeling it yet?? Then let’s swing those hips, do the twist and move those feet and even give a little kick! That’s it!! Have fun with it!!
